How we build, in depth

The full story behind selected projects — the challenge, our approach, what we built, and the results. Looking for the broader portfolio? See all our work.

What you get from reading these

Each write-up is a first-person account of a real engagement. We describe what the client was dealing with before we got involved — the manual process, the fragmented tool-set, or the operational ceiling they'd hit. We then walk through how we scoped the work (usually one or two discovery calls followed by a written brief), how we structured the build in short iterations with regular check-ins, and what the finished system looks and behaves like. Where the client agreed, we include screenshots of the actual product.

These are not marketing summaries. The aim is to give you enough detail to judge whether our approach fits your situation — so you can arrive at a first conversation already knowing roughly what to expect.

The kind of work we take on

Operational software across several domains

The projects below span transport, booking, retail, mobile, and finance — but the common thread is that each one replaced a fragmented or manual process with a purpose-built system.

Transport & dispatch

Fleet operations — limousine dispatch (DispatchOps), ride-hailing, taxi booking kiosks, car-sharing, route optimisation, and transportation web portals. Most projects combine a control-room dashboard with a driver-side mobile app.

Booking & scheduling

Systems that take reservations, manage availability, and handle confirmations without staff overhead — gym management (BooknGo), facility booking, and class scheduling for sports programmes.

Retail, F&B & e-commerce

Tablet POS systems synced across multiple outlets, food delivery apps connected to kitchen workflows, and e-commerce platforms that handle inventory and customer engagement in one place.

Mobile apps

Field-facing mobile apps — job tracking for drivers, dive logging, EV charging session management — where the primary user is on the move and needs a focused, reliable interface.

Education & sports

Student management systems for academic institutions and sports management apps that give coaches visibility into progress, attendance, and achievements without paper-based admin.

Finance & web portals

Web portals built around complex data — loan comparison tools, application tracking, and financial resources that help users make informed decisions without calling a consultant.

What our case studies show

Anyone can list logos. These case studies do something more useful: they walk through how a real custom software project actually gets delivered in Singapore — the problem the client was stuck on, how we scoped it, the decisions we made along the way, what we built, and the measurable results afterwards. If you’re weighing whether to build custom software, this is the honest view of what working with us looks like.

Across the projects you’ll see a consistent pattern: we start with the operational bottleneck (not a feature list), build in tight iterations with regular demos, and stay on after launch to support and improve. The same approach is described on our how we work page, and the full catalogue of delivered systems lives in our work. Curious what a project like yours might cost or take? Each case study is structured around three questions: what was the problem, what did we build, and what changed as a result. The results section is intentionally qualitative where we don’t have hard numbers — we would rather describe what the system replaced and how the operation changed than state figures we can’t stand behind. If a specific project is close to what you’re planning, it’s a reasonable starting point for a conversation about scope and timeline.
